Our freelancers
MeinSchreibservice.de freelancers are qualified, independent typists/translators who are in contact with us via email in order to receive work and complete it from home based on their availability. You will be informed about new assignments via email on a first come, first served principle.
All freelancers must be comfortable with operating and maintaining their own computer and software. They are committed to maintain and meet work schedules and consistently produce a high-quality product through attention to detail and acute focus on work.
How to apply
Please fill in the online application form. You will then receive detailed information about cooperation with MeinSchreibservice.de. Or send us your CV to recruitment(at)meinschreibservice.de.
Testing
In the information package you will receive access data to our testing ftp server. We kindly request you do download the relevant tests, depending on which service you are applying for. Please send us the tests by email to recruitment(at)meinschreibservice.de. It may take a few days for us to evaluate the tests. Please note that there is no remuneration for the tests. You will then receive an email stating if you are accepted or not. After successfully passing our test we ask you to sign and send back a non-disclosure agreement, as all our freelancers have to keep professional secrecy and work according to the guidelines of the data protection law.
Acceptance into our freelancer database
As soon as you have successfully passed our tests and signed the non-disclosure agreement we will confirm that you have been added to our database of freelancers. You will then receive emails for job offers. The confirmation for cooperation will always be done separately for each job, therefore you will not sign any contract with MeinSchreibservice.de. If you wish to step back from your freelance employment, you can simply inform us via a short email.
Distribution of assignments
As soon as we receive a request from our client we send out an email to all our qualified freelancers. This is regarded as a job offer. This doesn’t mean that you have already got the job. A claim for acceptance is not possible. MeinSchreibservice.de reserves the right to choose a suitable freelancer individually.
Please apply only, if you have time to fulfil the task properly including all requirements and extras. You can decide independently whether you want to reply to a job offer or not. Afterwards, you will receive a confirmation or a refusal from MeinSchreibservice.de.
The distribution of general jobs is done on a first come, first served principle. This means that the person who replies positively first will get the job. (Assuming they have the necessary qualifications). After that, the chosen freelancer has to confirm that he/she will do the job. This confirmation is binding and the assignment has to be fulfilled completely and correctly and the set deadline has to be met. Otherwise, payment will not be made.
Payment
The salary is specified in the first offer by email for the particular assignment. It is set according to the expected amount of work, e.g. the expected time that will be spent on the assignment. After successfully completing the assignment you can send us an invoice, optionally also a bi-weekly or monthly invoice. We usually transfer the amount within 14 days. The transfer will be to a bank account in a SEPA country or in South Africa. In all other countries, payments can also be done via PayPal and Moneybookers(Skrill).
